When attempting to understand National Socialism, the first principle which must be grasped is the conception of the national community. Simply put, the national community is the entirety of an ethnic (-national) people and ultimately the shared destiny of that people. This recognizes the reality of ethnic groups and our relationship to them as individuals. From here, it would be logical for one to assume that a society built with the national community in mind would be working to re-envision the idea of a socialist system for the betterment of the national community; departing from internationalist socialism (communism).
